Cash For Clunkers data isn’t being made available to the public. Could just be the Obama administration’s need to hide what the data shows, or it could just be the fact that the government’s computers are so screwed up they don’t really know what’s going on.

More than likely, it’s both. The government’s lack of ability to run something as simple as a car rebate program doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in the Fed’s ability to run the healthcare industry.

Also no surprise that Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai are gathering up most of the sales. People seem to like the Ford Focus, and Ford has the added advantage of having started the effort to fix their company several years ago, unlike the government run wreckage of GM and Chrysler. Hyundai has the advantage of producing fairly reliable cars at low price points.
