Why is Anyone Surprised

That the States are not spending their “stimulus” money as intended?

As P.J. O'Rourke once noted, giving money and power to politicians is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.

Not surprisingly, the trillionish dollars thrown to Obama's political supporters isn't doing much to stimulate the economy, so we're starting to hear calls to toss another trillion or so down this rat hole.

All from an administration that rejected a real stimulus package in a payroll tax holiday, because they didn't trust the American people to spend their money wisely.
