Update: China Revising Poisoned Infant Counts Upward

The official numbers are now 6 dead, and 294,000 infants sickened by tainted infant formula.

Originally noted here and here. The original estimate was 6,200 sick babies, soon revised upwards to 53,000, and now almost 300,000.

Not a terrific testimony to the quality of life in the People’s Paradise.
