Now They Tell Us, Part 546,456,967,334,002:

So, post election, we have a few pieces on how in-the-tankedness the MSM was for the Obama election. We’ll have a few pieces on how GWB really wasn’t killing puppies with his bare hands. We’ll have a few mildly critical pieces about some fringe Democratic proposals.

Until the 2010 midterm elections show on the radar. Then, it’s back into full Democratic boot licking mode.

For today’s entry:

Debra Howell, WaPo Ombudsman, admits they were in the tank for Obama:

“The Post provided a lot of good campaign coverage, but readers have been consistently critical of the lack of probing issues coverage and what they saw as a tilt toward Democrat Barack Obama. My surveys, which ended on Election Day, show that they are right on both counts.”

Well, duh. I guess she has a degree in Mastering the Obvious. Nice of her to share that tidbit, now that the election is safely over.

And on Gaffe-O-Matic Joe Biden v Sarah Palin?

“One gaping hole in coverage involved Joe Biden, Obama's running mate. When Gov. Sarah Palin was nominated for vice president, reporters were booking the next flight to Alaska. Some readers thought The Post went over Palin with a fine-tooth comb and neglected Biden. They are right; it was a serious omission. However, I do not agree with those readers who thought The Post did only hatchet jobs on her. There were several good stories on her, the best on page 1 by Sally Jenkins on how Palin grew up in Alaska.”

So, we have one semi-positive story on Palin, but completely ignore behavior, that, had it been a Republican, would have drawn continuous negative front page coverage:

Plagiarism & lying about his academic record.

Bigotry against Indian-Americans

Wanting to ship $200 mill to Iran after 9/11..

Joe Biden: Liar, Plagiarist, Bigot, and Idiot. And now Vice-President Elect.

Does anybody think that a Republican could have done this stuff and kept office, let alone get picked for the Vice-Presidency?

If you answered yes, please go back on your medication.

Only in America, thanks to the relentless efforts of the useful idiots at the Washington Post and their ilk. .
