Contaminated Chinese Milk “Under Control”?

Not exactly a ringing endorsement from Chinese Officialdom:

“’There is no problem,’ Xiang Yuzhang, the national quality watchdog's chief inspection official, told reporters in Beijing.

‘It has been brought under control, more or less. There are no more problems in the market. As far as I know, there will be no more bad news.’”

"More or Less"? "More or Less"? Certainly makes me want to go get a big helping of Chinese dairy products. Everything’s hunky dory now in the People’s Paradise.

Given the nature of China – I waiver between thinking that it’s really a mercantilist / feudal system, or syndicalist / corporatist. Frankly, there may not be a dime’s worth of difference between the two.
