Robert Mugabe, Clinging to Power Edition
Bitter over his recent election loss, he wanted to be clinging to some guns from China, but things just aren’t working out. No doubt the ship will return to some Chinese port to either try again later, or for transloading as airfreight, and then the cargo is back on it’s way to Zimbabwe.
It’s interesting that the official Mugabe house press is calling for a transitional “national unity government”. Can’t get much closer to an admission of defeat without saying so directly.
No doubt the recounts will continue until Mugabe gets the results he wants. In the meantime, look for lots of folks to be “re-educated”.
