Is there anyone involved in any branch of the AG’s office that isn’t being investigated for sexual harassment?
In today’s news, Dann fires Dwight L Aspacher. Unlike everyone else involved in this den of iniquity, Aspacher doesn’t seem to be a long time Dann barnacle. Likely the reason that he was fired, and not Gutierrez or Jennings.
Interesting to note that although Aspacher was suspended two days after the complaint was filed, Dann didn’t get around to starting an investigation for another three months. Probably because he was busy sending sophomoric emails to Jessica Utovich.
This isn’t exactly going to quell the notion that the AG doesn’t take sexual harassment claims seriously.
Add into the mix that Gutierrez has a history of smashing up the State of Ohio’s SUVs, and not bothering to fill out incident reports, etc., etc., certainly gives one the notion that Dann’s crew believes itself to be above the law.
One of the items on the either Obama or Clinton’s to do list after getting the nomination is to have Dann’s head on a plate. The last thing the nominee wants is to be campaigning in Ohio while Dann’s running the AG’s office like a cross between Animal House and Rock of Love.
Name that Party Footnote: The Zanesville Times Recorder and Columbus Dispatch pieces don’t seem to find Dann’s party relevant. The Lebonon Times Recorder does, since they are including Kevin DeWine’s call for an independent investigation, as well as making the point that there’s an inherent conflict with having Ben Espy investigate the shenanigans occurring in his boss’s office.
