Lame Rationalization

Actually, this is beyond lame, and closer to quadriplegic rationalization.

“The average home price for February was $116,815, the lowest average in the past five years in sales data provided by the Akron Area Board of Realtors.

The February price reflected a 9 percent decline from January and 10 percent from a year ago.

Susan O'Neal, president of the Akron Area Board of Realtors, said the figures are not an indication of any major trend.

‘I think a bunch of lower-priced homes happened to sell that month,’ she said.”
Great effort Sue! And what do we have for our winner, Johnny?

Yes, Mac, she’ll get a copy of the home version of our hit show, “Spin to Denial”!!

But seriously, folks. When national housing prices drop by 8%, it’s not just cause only the lowest priced houses sold.

The other side of the coin is that housing is becoming more affordable.
