Euphemisms Never Fix Problems

A lesson lost on the Education Establishment. Like most lessons.

From Radley Balko, Massachusetts can no longer bear to call schools ‘underperforming’. But here’s the translation:

“Commonwealth Priority”: This school really sucks. No education is occuring; we don't even try anymore.
“Priority One”: This school really, really sucks. Give up hope, all ye who enter here.

Now that the code has been broken, what will the educrats do? I mean, other can whine about how under funded they are – that’s the only given in a discussion about ‘public’ schools.
