Illegal Immigration

I thought that there was nothing we could do to stem the tide of illegals. Isn’t that what Kennedy, Bush, and others were telling us?

Apparently, that’s false. The point of the article is, of course, to do the work of blurring the distinction between legal and illegal immigrants as much as possible. You know, those poor who are only here to do the work that Americans just won’t do.

The inescapable conclusion, however, is that pressure on employers and sanctions will likely have the effect of generating some level of self-deportation.

More here. Unsurprisingly, employers don’t like facing the loss of cheap, illegal labor.
