Hillary Clinton and Endorsements

First there was South Carolina:

“February 23, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Two key black South Carolina lawmakers who are partners with Hillary Rodham Clinton's controversial $200,000 supporter-for-hire have thrown their endorsements behind her 2008 White House
bid.

State Reps. David Mack and Terry Alexander run satellite
offices of state Sen. Darrell Jackson's public-relations firm, which agreed to a consulting contract with Camp Clinton that could be worth over $200,000.

Jackson, an influential pastor of a 10,000- member megachurch, has been embroiled in controversy since it was uncovered that his coveted endorsement of Clinton came after he bagged a $10,000-a-month deal from her campaign for his PR firm.”

And now, about a month later, she’s purchased Vilsack as well:

“DES MOINES, Iowa -- Former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack gave Sen. Hillary Clinton his endorsement for her presidential campaign.

The Clinton campaign has promised Vilsack to help pay off a $400,000 campaign debt he built up during his run for the White House.”

Did you ever get the feeling that for the Clintons, everything is for sale?
