Economics and Social Policy XXXVI

Welcome to the March 13, 2007 edition of Economics and Social Policy.

I'm thinking of converting the carnival over to a bi-weekly publication schedule. Things have just been too hectic over the last couple of months to devote time to post solicitation, editing, etc. Will probably start the new format with the next edition. Feel free to comment - thoughts appreciated.

Tom Blumer presents Globaloney and Globalarmism: Consensus, Conschmensus posted at BizzyBlog, saying, "There is no consensus, and quite a bit of dissent."

Well, there goes the Globalgame. Especially now that the NY Times is beginning to show signs of journalism on the topic. .

Alvaro Fernandez presents Stress Management Workshop for International Women's Day posted at SharpBrains: Your Window into the Brain Fitness Revolution, saying, "How are we as a society dealing with widespread, and unhealthy, levels of stress and anxiety? Here you have some exercises and information."

Matthew Paulson presents Ethical and Socially Responsible Investing: Why it Can't Be Done posted at Getting Green.

Good points on why “socially responsible” investing is only a platitude.

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of Economics and Social Policy using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
