Sui Lang Panoke

Needs to stop whining about how the government doesn’t give her as much money as she wants, get a haircut and get a real job. Perhaps if she worked for a couple of years, she might get some tuition assistance from her employer, or build a credit history, or even save some money!

But I don’t think we want to carry this personal responsibility thing too far, now do we?

Increasing government subsidy for grad schools will likely have the same effects as increasing subsidies for undergraduate programs – that of increasing the list prices so that the universities can still maximize their income streams.

In a perfectly consistent note, she’s working on a master’s in public administration – this will enable her to go on with her life’s dream of taking money out of our pockets and into hers.

Note: As usual, I’m late to the party. For more continued derision of Ms. Panoke, see Best of the Web (10th item down, “World’s Smallest Violin”, Phi Beta Cons, and Cato’s Neal McCluskey does the step by step fisking.
